Island Veterinary Services is proud to offer you digital radiography for your pet. While xrays in the past used film and chemicals, we now process your pet's radiographs directly onto our computer screen using digital technology.
What this means for you and your pet is that we can produce a much better quality image , giving us a much clearer image of the bones soft tissue structures while being kinder to the environment.
Digital radiography allows us to see much greater detail than we ever could offer before on a standard radiograph, making diagnosis quicker and more accurate. Images can even be sent overseas for specialist consultation at a touch of a button!
