Island Veterinary Services has an on site pharmacy with prescription medications for all of your pet's health care needs. We are dedicated to stocking a full range of menications to make sure the prescription your pet needs is immediately available.
All prescription medications require a veterinarian-client-patient relationship, so our veterinarians must examine all animals before a new prescription is dispensed. If your pet is on medication that requires a refill please call 24 hours in advance to request your refill.
Our veterinary health care team is happy to check your pet's record and advise you if an examination or blood work is needed prior to refilling your pet's prescription.
We also carry a full line of Science Diet Prescription diets to help manage diseases such as diabetes, heart and liver disease or allergic conditions. These special diets are available only by prescription and are not available from pet or food stores.
